PRESQUE ISLE – Joe Collins scored five goals to lead the Presque Isle Wildcats to a 7-4 high school hockey victory over Foxcroft Academy at the Northern Maine Forum.

Ryan Cyr had a goal and two assists for Presque Isle. Ted Gagnon scored a goal and Trevor Graves assisted on two goals. Bryan Fowler made nine saves on 13 shots.

Mitch Sawyer had two goals and an assist to lead the Ponies. Adam Conway and David White each scored a goal. Jonathan Latell had 27 saves on 34 shots.

Lewiston 3, Skowhegan 0

At Winslow’s Sukee Arena, Adam Longchamps broke a scoreless tie with the first of his two goals 2:48 into the third period and Jason Dube scored 52 seconds later as Lewiston triumphed.

Adam Wilding and Jake Girardin had assists for the Blue Devils and Nick Langlais made 10 saves.

Ben Jordan stopped 33 shots for Skowhegan.

Girls basketball

Caribou 61, Orono 22

At Caribou, Monica Selander and Lindsay Burlock each scored 15 points as the host Vikings remained unbeaten.

Lauren Harrigan added 11 points for Caribou, which led 33-12 at intermission.

Stacey Saucier paced Orono with eight points.

Fort Kent, which jumped out to a 20-3 lead after the first period, also received nine points from Monique Labbe.

Kelly Chasse’s 12 points sparked Madawaska.

Amanda Jago had 14 points for GHCA, Farrar grabbed 10 rebounds to go with her 12 points and Colleen Sjoberg added nine points.

Marie Gilman’s game-high 16 points paced East Grand.
