BANGOR – Merrill Merchants Bancshares Inc., parent company of Merrill Merchants Bank of Bangor, announced the declaration of a quarterly cash dividend of $0.13 per share on the company’s common stock.

The dividend represents an 18 percent increase over last year’s fourth quarter. All shareholders are eligible to receive the dividend on Jan. 30, 2004.
