Heather Ernest

Heather Ernest of the University of Maine has been named the America East Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season. The senior forward from Temple registered her fifth double-double of the season in Sunday’s 85-73 win over Rider, posting 25 points and 14 rebounds. Ernest shot 12-for-18 from the floor, dished out seven assists and made two steals. Ernest ranks second in league scoring at 19.5 points per game and leads AE in rebounding with 10.9 per contest.
