Outlook: The Division I Bears should be able to handle the Division III White Mules, but won’t take them for granted. Maine is coming off a weeklong break following a 67-60 loss at Massachusetts on Dec. 23. Colby hasn’t played since a 74-71 setback against UMaine-Farmington on Dec. 6. The Mules have dropped three straight. The Bears have lost two of three. The contest will provide both clubs with a chance to get tuned up for their league schedules. Reed and Dobson have been Maine’s catalysts, but were held in check by UMass. The Bears should have a big height advantage as well. The Colby roster includes Bangor products Loukes and Casey Civiello along with Waterville’s Tom Nale.
