HUDSON – Maine State Police arrested a Glenburn man Friday after a 911 call led to a burglary investigation.
Trooper Paul White said that on Friday morning he responded to a 911 call reporting a car accident in Glenburn. White said that the people involved in the accident told him that a business in Hudson had been burglarized Thursday afternoon.
White said the people in the car were apparently trying to investigate the burglary themselves.
White said that further investigation led to the arrest of Justin Heacock, 18, of Glenburn, who reportedly admitted breaking into B & S Salvage on Pine Grove Road in Hudson and taking a computer and a television. White said the break-in occurred between 3 and 4 p.m.
White said the goods were found in Heacock’s residence and returned to their owner. Heacock was charged with burglary and taken to Penobscot County Jail. Other charges may be pending.
