Meg Cressler

University of Southern Maine senior guard Meg Cressler was named the Little East Conference Player of the Week and received Tournament Most Outstanding Player honors for basketball. Cressler scored her 1,000th career point in a 2-0 week in the Grand Canyon Classic in Phoenix, Arizona. She averaged 14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists.

Jeremiah Johnson

University of Maine at Machias sophomore Jeremiah Johnson was honored as the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week for men’s basketball. Johnson averaged 19 points and six rebounds in a 4-0 week.

Nedrie Simmons

Nedrie Simmons, a freshman at the University of Maine at Machias, was named the Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Week for men’s basketball. Simmons averaged 5.2 points and two rebounds in four games.
