MADAWASKA – Jeremy Chasse’s 3-point goal with 21/2 minutes remaining gave Van Buren a 45-43 schoolboy basketball victory over Madawaska on Monday night.

Chasse finished with a team-high 17 points, while Matthew Gagnon added 10 points for Van Buren.

Josh Pelletier paced Madawaska with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Peter Gerard scored 10 points for the Owls.
