U.S. Cellular recently added wireless coverage and call clarity to its services to Orono and University of Maine customers with a new wireless site equipped with the company’s next generation of technology, Code Division Multiple Access 1XRTT.

The new site and technology will enable the company to meet area residents’ increased demand for wireless services.

Mark Gartley, a regional manager for U.S. Cellular, said service would be noticeably improved.
