‘Cats defeat Vikes

CARIBOU – Greg Whitaker scored nine of his 17 points in the fourth quarter Thursday night to help lead Presque Isle to a 56-50 boys basketball victory over archrival Caribou.

Chris Carlin also paced the Wildcats with 17 points and Kyle Rideout added 11.

Ben Wakana scored 14 for the Vikings. Brad Campbell had 13 and Joey Pelletier scored 10.
