BIDDEFORD – Ashley Marble scored 15 of her career-high 17 points in the first half, grabbed 12 rebounds, and made six steals to lead the University of Southern Maine women to a 74-36 victory over the University of New England Thursday.

Tiffany Jones netted 14 points and Meg Cressler contributed 12 for the sixth-ranked Huskies of Gorham.

Essie McKinnon and Missy Stults led UNE with eight points each.
