St. Francis tops Bengals

BOSTON – Bob St. Leger scored 16 points as St. Francis of Illinois defeated the University of Maine-Fort Kent 88-74 in men’s college basketball play Thursday night.

Eric Epps added 15 points for St. Francis, while Kevin Howard had 14.

Bartas Samaitis and Chad Gervais each scored 14 points for the Bengals, and Chris York contributed 10 points.
