Taylor sparks Calais Blue Devils top Shiretowners

CALAIS – Courtney Taylor tossed in 13 points to help lead the Calais Blue Devils to a 53-49 schoolgirl basketball victory over the Houlton Shiretowners Saturday.

Tracie Eagan scored 11 points for the Blue Devils and Emily Smith added 10. Danielle O’Brien had eight rebounds.

Katherine Cole led Houlton with 14 points and Danielle Sewell had 10.
