DEER ISLE – Back-to-back 3-pointers by Tim Carter midway through the fourth quarter helped rally visiting George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill to a 47-44 schoolboy basketball victory over Deer Isle-Stonington on Wednesday night.

Carter, sidelined for much of the second half with four trouble, scored seven of his game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter.

Collin Henry added 11 points for the Eagles.

Bryant Ciomei and Thomas Robbins each scored 10 points for Deer Isle-Stonington, while Lance Ciomei and Josh Eaton added nine points apiece.

Ryan Levesque scored 15 points for the Red Riots.

Nick Elliott paced Central with 15 points, while Danny Kane scored 12 and Joey Kane added 11.
