WATERVILLE – Buddy Leavitt’s 3-pointer from halfcourt with less than three seconds remaining gave Husson a 99-96 men’s basketball victory over Thomas College Wednesday night
Leavitt finished with 24 points for the Braves of Bangor.
Phil White added 20 points and Tyler Muzzy 17 for Husson, while Bill Beauregard scored 11 and Dwayne Ailey had 10.
Leading the Terriers was Adam Rich with 33 points. Dan Grappi scored 20 more, while James Godley scored 13 and Matt Dillon had 12.

At Waterville, Holly Gracie scored 11 points and Megan Hughes added 10 points and 11 rebounds as Husson outlasted Thomas in North Atlantic Conference play.
Carmen Ballard also scored 10 points for the Braves, while Annie McIntosh contributed eight points and 11 rebounds.
Tammy Fowler paced Thomas with a game-high 19 points and nine rebounds. Ashley Hathaway scored 10 points for the Terriers.
