At Brewer, the Winslow Black Raiders jumped out to a 3-1 first-period lead and held on for the win.
Josh Poulin, Matt Bickford and Dan Bickford each had a goal and an assist for the 5-4 Black Raiders. Jason Ellis and Ryan Cosgrove also scored for Winslow, while Kevin McCabe had two assists and Nathan Pelletier added one assist.
Mike Brown paced 5-5 Hampden Academy with two goals and an assist. Kyle Weiland added a goal and two assists, while Steve Boutin contributed a goal, Chris Pease had three assists and Chris Standley and Jason Huntley had one assist each.
Winslow goalie Devon Grenier made 25 saves on 29 shots, while Hampden’s Rory Woods made 27 saves on 32 shots.
