BANGOR – A Bangor woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man in the back with a kitchen knife early Thursday.
Bangor police Lt. Tim Reid reported that at about 2 a.m. police were called to a Jefferson Street address to assist an ambulance crew. A 26-year-old man was being treated for a stab wound in his back, Reid said. The man was later hospitalized.
Reid said a kitchen knife believed to be the weapon was found at the scene. Kristin McLaughlin, 34, who lives at that address, was arrested and charged with elevated aggravated assault. Her arraignment is scheduled for today.
