Bapst has Means to down HA

BANGOR – Alex Means poured in 25 points to help the John Bapst Crusaders corral the Hampden Academy Broncos 57-54 in a boys basketball matchup Friday night at the Bangor Auditorium,.

Kyle Ferrill chipped in with 13 for John Bapst.

Jordan Cook led the Broncos with 24 points. Sam Hodgdon put in 11, and Josh McNutt tallied 10.

Matt Huston, Shaun Michaud, and Devon Pelkey all scored for the Minutemen. Mike Simmons, Ryan Bouchard, and George Surrette each made assists. Combining for 48 saves on 57 shots were Jay Kim and Mike McCue.
