LeGassey leads Stearns by Pats for 10th victory

MILLINOCKET – Matt LeGassey scored 15 of his 27 points in the second quarter when Stearns outscored Penquis of Milo 21-10 to pull away for a 54-51 schoolboy basketball victory over the Patriots Wednesday night.

Derek DiFrederico chipped in with 17 points for the Minutemen and LeGassey grabbed 22 rebounds.

Jordan Allen paced Penquis with 16 points, Justin Allen put in 14 and Devin Perkins had 12.
