PORTLAND – The Ski Maine Association has partnered to expand the contributions skiers and riders make to their favorite community.
The Tin Mountain Round-Up program is built on Sugarloaf USA’s 17-year tradition of collecting canned food in exchange for discount lift tickets.
On Jan. 24-25, skiers at Big Rock Ski Area in Mars Hill will get a $1 discount for each canned good, up to five items per donor. At Mount Abram in Greenwood, skiers and riders who donate three food items will receive a $5 discount. Titcomb Mountain in West Farmington will contribute to local food pantries on Sunday, Jan. 25.
