Coffin powers Bates by UMF

FARMINGTON – Meg Coffin had 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead Bates College to an 86-62 women’s basketball victory over the University of Maine-Farmington on Monday night.

Olivia Zurek netted 15 points for the Bobcats of Lewiston. Lauren DuBois scored 12 points, and Heather Taylor and Maggie Fitzgerald each had 10.

Kari Simpson scored 15 points for the Beavers, and Karen Sirois had 10.
