DANFORTH – Darius Parker scored 10 points in overtime, including an 18-footer in the final seconds, to lift East Grand by previously unbeaten Washington Academy 76-74 in a schoolboy basketball showdown Monday night.
Parker finished with 37 points. Matt Scott chipped in with 14 points and Seth Preston had 12.
Whitney Stevens hit the basket to send the game into the extra session and finished with 29, including seven in overtime, for the Raiders of East Machias. Jared Gray added 22 points.
