Michel Leveille

University of Maine sophomore forward Michel Leveille was named the Hockey East Superskills Hockey Rookie of the Week. Leveille scored a short-handed goal and had three assists on Friday night at Boston University.

Colin Shields

Colin Shields of the University of the Maine was honored as the Hockey East CMM Hockey Co-Player of the Week. Shields had his second career hat trick on Friday night and added two assists against Boston University.

Michelle Gott

Maine Maritime Academy freshman guard from Tremont was named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week and Co-Player of the Week by the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. Gott averaged 28 points per game and 11 rebounds per game in three games.

Dwayne Ailey

Husson College senior guard Dwayne Ailey was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Ailey averaged 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game in a 3-0 week.

Lora Trenkle

Lora Trenkle of Bowdoin College was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. She had a season-high of 22 points against Wesleyan on Saturday.

Jon Codrey

University of Maine at Presque Isle senior Jon Codrey from Mars Hill was awarded both Rookie of the Week and Co-Player of the Week honors for Men’s Basketball by the Sunrise Conference. Codrey averaged 27.5 points and 11 rebounds in a 1-1 week.

Britney Carr

Bowdoin College senior Britney Carr was honored as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week. Carr scored five goals and had three assists in a 3-0 week.

Trey Gadbois

Trey Gadbois of the University of Southern Maine was named the Track Athlete of the Week for the Little East Conference. Gadbois established three school records, won two events and finished second in another.

Jesse McKinnell

Sophomore forward Jesse McKinnell of the University of Southern Maine was named the Men’s Basketball Little East Conference Rookie of the Week. McKinnell averaged 14.5 points and 10 rebounds in two conference games.

Holly Gracie

Husson College sophomore guard Holly Gracie was named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week. Gracie averaged 17.3 points in three games.

Tammy Fowler

Thomas College forward Tammy Fowler earned Rookie of the Week honors from the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. Fowler had 26 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Maine Maritime Academy.
