BRUNSWICK – Kyle Petrie scoerd 24 points and Mark Yakavonis added 17 to lead the Bowdoin College Polar Bears to a 106-73 men’s basketball win over the St. Joseph’s College Monks Tuesday night.

The Polar Bears hit the 100 mark for the first time since December of 2001.

T.J. McLeod and Nick Ordway each added 11 points for the winners.

Mike Stallings paced St. Joseph’s of Standish with 20 points and Steve Monteiro put in 11.

Jason Levecque scored 22 points for USM. Mike Francoeur netted 16 points and Jesse McKinnell had 11.
