Goldstein paces Bengals

FORT KENT – Roy Goldstein scored 21 points to lead the University of Maine-Fort Kent Bengals to an 83-78 men’s basketball victory over UM-Presque Isle Wednesday night.

Chad Gervais chipped in with 15 for UM-Fort Kent. Shane Durost added 13 and Chris York had 12.

Fabian Lennox led the Owls with 15 points while Jon Codrey and Tim Gagnon had 13 apiece. Gagnon also had 11 rebounds.

At Fort Kent Wednesday, Julie Clattenberg and Heidi Fisher each scored 12 points as the Bengals held off the Owls.

April Allen notched 10 for the winners.

Erica McGary sparked UM-Presque Isle with 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Sarah Nason had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
