STANDISH – Annie McIntosh’s tip-in at the buzzer gave the Husson College Braves of Bangor a 47-45 victory over St. Joseph’s College here Thursday in women’s college basketball action.
Crystal Martin scored 12 points, Holly Gracie added 10, and McIntosh pulled down 10 rebounds for Husson, which had to withstand a second-half charge by the Monks.
Megan Tetrault topped St. Joe’s, which trailed by 10 points at halftime, with 11 points,; Laura Pelkey posted 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Abbie Rice had 10 rebounds.

At Middletown, Conn., Kanem Johnson scored a game-high 29 points to lead Wesleyan to the win and become the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,553 points.
