STACYVILLE – Brian Sullivan hit eight of nine free throws in the fourth quarter to help give the Katahdin Cougars a 61-59 win over Schenck of Millinocket Thursday in boys basketball action.

Sullivan ended with 22 points, while Patrick Willett added 14.

Brian Graham netted 19 points for the Wolverines. Jordan Pelkey scored 14 and Mark Hannington 11.

Jacob Roeder had a goal and two assists for the 11-3 Riots. Tony Raymond scored a goal, and Keith Hedrick made 32 saves on 34 shots.

For the 9-4 Blackhawks, Ian Pasquarelli and Kevin Caron each scored a goal. Andy Clark and Micah Carton each had an assist, while Nic Joslyn made 29 saves on 33 shots.
