WASHBURN – Jason Thompson scored his 1,000th career point at the end of the first quarter and Washburn went on to post a 78-51 boys basketball victory over Easton Friday night.

Thompson netted 19 points for the Beavers, and Adam Thompson also had 19. Zach Bird scored 15 points, and Chris Pesut added 12.

Danny Warren recorded 19 points for Easton.
