STANDISH – Brittany Rauscher scored 19 points to help lead the St. Joseph’s women’s basketball team to a 61-60 victory over Thomas Monday in college action.

Megan Tetrault netted 10 points for the Monks and Marissa Regan added nine.

Tammy Fowler scored 15 points for the Terriers of Waterville. Courtney Corbett netted 10 points and Amanda Godley added 12 rebounds.

BOSTON – Jekabs Redlihs and Brian McConnell scored second-period goals to lead Boston University to a 5-2 victory over Northeastern in the Beanpot tournament Monday night.

Boston University, which has won the tournament the last two years and eight of the last nine, advanced to the championship game next Monday against Boston College, a 4-1 winner over Harvard.
