UM-Farmington women nip Colby

WATERVILLE – Kari Simpson made two foul shots with 1:01 remaining to help the Beavers edge the White Mules.

Karen Sirois scored 20 points to lead UMaine-Farmington, which went 21-for-24 from the foul line. Kate LaHaye contributed 14 points and Kari Simpson added eight points and 12 rebounds for the Beavers.

Wendy Bonner paced Colby with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Caitlin Bourque tallied 12 points.

Corey Shields and Shawn Collins scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Falcons.

Tyler Weymouth led New Brunswick Bible Institute with 17 points. Andy Michaud netted 13 and Darrell Haines added 12.
