ROCKPORT – The Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockport has scheduled its 23rd Juried Exhibition for June 5-July 11. The exhibition is open to all visual, new media and crafts artists who are year-round or seasonal residents of Maine.
All work must be original in concept and design, and created since Jan. 1, 2002. The application deadline is March 20.
The biennial jurors are Sam Cady, artist and professor at the School of Visual Art’s graduate program; Sharon Corwin, curator of the Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville; and Waqas Wajahat, assistant director of Knoedler & Co., the New York gallery that handled the works of Winslow Homer in his time.
The Center for Maine Contemporary Art is a nonprofit organization advancing Maine art through exhibitions and educational programs.
