WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Michael H. Michaud has begun a new e-mail service to communicate with Internet users in Maine.

In an inaugural e-mail, Michaud informed Maine residents of his proposed constitutional amendment to protect Social Security and asked people to fill out a survey of their feelings on free trade agreements and President Bush’s space proposal, among other issues.

“Using this e-mail service, I can communicate with the people of Maine on a regular basis. I can let them know what I’m working on, and they can tell me what they would like to see done,” Michaud said.

Individuals who want to receive e-mail updates and surveys can e-mail rep.mikemichaud@mail.house.gov and ask to be placed on the newsletter list.
