KNOX – The Larrabees will serve as hosts of a sleigh rally on Feb. 15.

The rally will feature several horse-drawn sleighs and their drivers dashing through the snow, competing in various categories, including the demanding obstacle course and scoot contest.

Free sleigh rides will be offered for those who want to enjoy the beauty of a Maine winter day amid the sounds of sleigh bells.

Those who own a horse and sleigh are welcome to participate.

This community event starts at 10 a.m. Admission is free, and the Boy Scouts will provide refreshments and a bonfire. The rally will take place at the Joy Valley Riders Ring on the Abbott Road in Knox. For participant entry information, contact Clayton Larrabee at 568-3475.
