BANGOR – Andrea Pardilla, 23, of Old Town defeated Lori Martin of Vermont on Saturday to win the Northern New England Golden Gloves Tournament women’s novice boxing heavyweight championship in Burlington, Vt.
Joshua McAuliffe, 23, of Bangor received a bye through the men’s open heavyweight championship and will fight for the New England Golden Gloves heavyweight title Feb. 17-18 in Lowell, Mass.
Both boxers represent McAuliffe Boxing Club of Bangor.
