UNITY – Jennifer Raymond turned a driving layup into a three-point play with 26 seconds remaining to break a 52-52 tie and give Eastern Maine Community College a 55-52 women’s basketball win over Unity in a Yankee Conference Northern Division playoff game Tuesday night.
EMCC of Bangor will travel to meet top seed Central Maine Community College on Thursday in Auburn.
Raymond finished with 15 points, Alicia Drost scored 13, and Stephanie Kennedy contributed nine.
Lindsay Smith’s game-high 16 points, Christine Blakesley’s 14, and Brianna Duguay’s 12 paced Unity.
