ELLSWORTH – Union Trust Co. President Peter A. Blyberg recently announced the restructuring of his executive management team to help service two new business regions.
John Lynch, executive vice president, will be responsible for managing the Down East region, encompassing Hancock and Washington counties. Lynch has been with Union Trust for 23 years.
Kent Winters, senior vice president, will serve as midcoast regional manager for Knox, Lincoln and Waldo counties. Winters recently joined the company after serving as president and CEO of KeyBank in New Hampshire.
“By having two regional managers, we can push decision-making down closer to the customer and allow us to be more responsive to their financial needs,” Blyberg said.
Union Trust also has turned its focus to expanding its bank in the financial services area, Blyberg said. Rebecca Sargent, senior vice president, will report to Blyberg while overseeing investment management and fiduciary services along with services offered through Cornerstone Investment Services, a division of Union Trust.
Other changes include the naming of Peter Greene as senior vice president and chief administrative officer, a new position to Union Trust.
