BLUE HILL – Brian Graham and Jordan Pelkey each scored 14 points to lead No. 11 Schenck to a 62-46 upset of No. 6 George Stevens Academy in Eastern Maine Class C boys prelim play Wednesday night.

Tyler Thompson netted 13 points for the Wolverines of East Millinocket, and Aaron Waite added 11 points.

Collin Henry had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Eagles, and Sam Bridges had eight points and eight rebounds.

Griffin scored 14 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter for the Hawks and had 10 rebounds, eight assists, and six steals. Kirby Sanford had 16 points and eight boards, and Kevin Sanford added 10 points.

Senior Chris Correll also scored his 1,000th career point for Machias with about 20 seconds left in the game. James McCarthy netted 18 points for the Bulldogs, and Cory Brooks had 11.
