BREWER – More than $100,000 was raised during the annual Snowmobile Ride-In Weekend last Saturday to benefit the Pine Tree Camp, organizers announced this week.
WQCB Q-106.5 raised $22,300 during its Egg Ride competition. Celebrity riders such as Zoe Zanidakis from “Survivor,” Todd Symcox from WABI TV-5, Miss Maine USA MacKenzie Davis and U.S. Rep. Michael Michaud had to carry 446 eggs while riding on a snowmobile. Other events included dances, raffles, poker runs, a parade, an auction and a giant chicken barbecue.
Pine Tree Camp, in Rome, Maine, is a summer camp for adults and children with disabilities.
