Katahdin Bankshares Corp., parent company of Katahdin Trust Co. in Aroostook County, has announced an increase of 18.4 percent in its earnings, up to $10.43 per share.

Katahdin Trust has 14 offices statewide, serving mostly northern Maine. The company reported a 16.7 percent increase with a fourth-quarter dividend of $0.35 per share.
