Maine and the nation need to prepare for the Bush administration’s coming shock and awe tactic. George W. Bush has $140 million in his re-election war chest to spend before the Republican convention. That means we will be assaulted in the next six months with massive TV advertising bombs.

Money rules in U.S. politics but at least we should have a pre-emptive warning about its use.
