Tammy Fowler

Thomas College freshman forward Tammy Fowler was named the North Atlantic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Fowler averaged 17.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game.

Lora Trenkle

Senior guard Lora Trenkle of Bowdoin College was honored as the Maine Women’s Basketball Association Co-Player of the Week. Trenkle averaged 16.5 points while shooting 66.7 percent from the floor and 58.3 percent from beyond the arc.

Betsy Hochadel

Bates College junior forward Betsy Hochadel was named the Co-Player of the Week by the Maine Women’s Basketball Association. Hochadel averaged 15 points and 6.3 rebounds in a 3-0 week for the Bobcats.

Kim Brewer

Junior Kim Brewer of the University of Southern Maine was awarded the Little East Conference Field Athlete of the Week. Brewer won the long jump with a school record of 17-43/4 and also took runner-up finishes in the triple jump and high jump.

Trey Gadbois

University of Southern Maine freshman Trey Gadbois was honored as the Little East Conference Field Athlete of the Week. Gadbois won all three jumping events and also took second place in the 55-meter high hurdles.
