Bangor police arrested a man early Tuesday after he repeatedly tried to get his mother to let him into her apartment.
Officer Chad Foley reported that at about 7 p.m. Monday Officer Douglas Moore issued a criminal trespass warning to Joseph Bezio, 23, of Bangor. Bezio had been visiting his mother at her Harlow Street apartment building and refused to leave, so she called the police, Foley said.
Moore returned at about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday after Bezio’s mother complained that he wouldn’t stop ringing the entry buzzer. Moore issued Bezio a disorderly conduct warning.
At about 5 a.m., Foley said, he and Officer Michael Jewett were called to the same address after Bezio allegedly entered the building and was knocking on his mother’s door, in violation of the trespass warning. They found a broken window on the front door to the building. Bezio was outside his mother’s apartment.
Foley said Bezio admitted breaking the window to get in, because his toes were cold. He was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

Fournier said Fuller claimed that she thought her boyfriend was on the phone with his boss.
Old Town police arrested a man on two counts of assault and other charges early Tuesday.

Fournier said Kenneth Woods, 37, of Old Town lived at that address but had been removed from the premises earlier that night. He was warned to stay away from the home until the next day, because he was very drunk.
Finding him there again, and after interviewing those present, the officers arrested Woods and charged him with two counts of assault, criminal trespass and refusing to submit to arrest.
Bangor police arrested a man Monday night after he allegedly ran a stop sign.
Officer Dan Herrick said that at about 11 p.m., he stopped a van after seeing it drive through the stop sign on Allen Street where it meets Hammond Street.
The driver said he had no license and gave the name “Ricardo Cruz.” Dispatch found no records matching that name, Herrick said.
Herrick arrested Cruz and found a wallet on him containing a Connecticut identification card, with the name Ramon Cruz, age 30. According to Herrick, Cruz admitted that was his real name and also said he was on bail after being arrested recently for domestic assault.
Herrick took Cruz to Penobscot County Jail and charged him with operating after suspension, violation of conditional release and failure to give a correct name.
