AUGUSTA – Mark Gaudet tossed in 28 points to pace second-seeded Valley to a 79-65 victory over North Yarmouth Academy in Western Maine Class D boys basketball tournament semifinal action Wednesday at the Civic Center.

Travis Hovey notched 23 for the Cavaliers of Bingham.

Tim DeLuca poured in 34 points for the No. 3 Panthers and Tim Lachance added 13.
