Pain management credential

BANGOR – Family Nurse Practitioner Susan Anderson of Acadia Hospital was awarded recently the Fellow credential in pain management by the American Academy of Pain Management.

Donation to hospital

BREWER – The Brewer Wal-Mart Supercenter recently donated $1,000 to Acadia Hospital. Half that amount is earmarked for the hospital’s Aspenledge program, and remainder will go to the children’s services department.

Daffodil Days

BANGOR – It’s time to celebrate the arrival of spring by volunteering for the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days. Volunteers are needed to sell, pack, sort and deliver flowers during the week of March 22.

With Daffodil Days, the American Cancer Society raises funds for research, education, advocacy, patient services and programs, while bringing hope and help to cancer patients in local communities.

Reiki sessions

BANGOR – Dr. Joan Settin will hold a free monthly “Reiki Introduction and Exchange” for Reiki practitioners of all lineages to meet and practice.
