BANGOR – Bangor-area students seeking funds for college education need look no further than the Maine Community Foundation.

The following scholarships are available:

. The Bangor Breakfast Rotary Scholarship fund is open to Bangor-area students.

. The Chet Jordan Leadership Award Fund is open to students statewide who are emerging leaders in their schools and communities.

. The Drake Scholarship is open to a graduating Brewer High School senior.

. Scholarships available to Hampden Academy students include the Maynard and Clara Eldridge Scholarship Fund, the Roderick E. and Margaret D. Farnham Fund, the Dr. Stephen J. Haggan Memorial Scholarship Fund, Hampden Academy Fund of the Whitemore Trust, the Hampden Academy Scholarship Fund, the Jeffrey Peet Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Ruth Good and Louis C. Sterns III Scholarship Fund.

. The Myron B. Foster Fund provides scholarships to students who are residents of Corinth.

. The Ruth Milan-Altrusa Scholarship Fund provides support to students pursuing a nursing degree in the Eastern Maine Community College-Husson College Nursing Program.

. The Marshall Stern Scholarship Fund provides support for graduates of Bangor High School attending the University of Maine.
