ORONO – KidsPeace New England, a nonprofit organization located on Stillwater Avenue at the University Mall, is collecting formal prom wear donations for high school students affected by mill closings.

More than 300 gowns are available, as well as tuxedos and suits. House of Brides of Bangor recently donated 70 gowns.

Teens in need may come to KidsPeace 10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 27, April 3, 17, 24, and May 1.
