The Maine Maritime Academy men split a pair of basketball games in Massachusetts this weekend, beating Mount Ida in Newton 91-79 Sunday after losing to Lasell 73-61 on Saturday.
On Saturday, Matt Clement notched 26 points and 10 rebounds while Adam LeClair scored 23 in the win.
Marc McCorrison added 14 and Neil Stewart 11 for the winners of Castine.
Josh Didick tallied 25 points and Scot Chamberlain 21 for Mount Ida.
On Sunday, the NAC’s top team, Lasell, stormed out to an early lead and never looked back.
Clement sparked the Mariners with 29 points and 18 rebounds while LeClair had 12 points.

Megan Aarts and Tristan Desmet each scored a goal for the 9-14-4 Black Bears. Cheryl White had an assist, and Janusc had another assist. Lara Smart made 32 saves on 34 shots.
Crystal Rochon and Amy Goodney each netted a goal for 13-8-7 Northeastern. Mia Mucci, Rachael Bertram, Rebecca Peters, and Theresa Ella each provided an assist. Chanda Gunn stopped 27 of 30 shots.
