Jen Webster

University of Southern Maine senior forward Jen Webster was named the Little East Conference Player of the Week and Co-Player of the week by the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. Webster averaged 24 points and six rebounds in two conference wins last week.

Heather Ernest

University of Maine senior forward Heather Ernest was honored as the America East Player of the Week for women’s basketball. Ernest averaged 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for the Black Bears.

Michel Leveille

Michel Leveille, a sophomore forward for the University of Maine was named the Hockey East Superskills Hockey Rookie of the Week, his third such honor. Leveille had a five point weekend with a goal and four assists.

Wayne Clarke

University of Maine at Machias junior Wayne Clarke was awarded Player of the Week by the Sunrise Conference for men’s basketball. Clarke averaged 16.5 points in a 2-0 week.

Nedrie Simmons

Freshman Nedrie Simmons was named the Sunrise Conference Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week. Simmons averaged 7.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in a two win week.

Kim Brewer

Kim Brewer, a junior at the University of Southern Maine was honored as the Little East Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week. Brewer scored in three events in the Division III New England Championships. She placed sixth in the long jump, seventh in the high jump, and eighth in the 55-meter hurdles.
