LIMESTONE – The Telford Group Inc. has been contracted by Bombardier Capital Inc. to perform heavy aircraft maintenance on the company’s fleet of Shorts aircraft.
The contract calls for an initial intensive inspection on a first aircraft and, based on aviation market conditions, could lead to extensive maintenance and storage of multiple aircraft.
The contract will boost Telford’s staff by six employees and could lead to as many as 15 new temporary full-time positions.
The first aircraft, already being worked on, is to be delivered to Bombardier within 70 days.
