Bridgecorp, a 129-year-old Augusta-based road building contractor, was sold Feb. 20 to Pike Industries by its fourth-generation owner and president, John C. Bridge.

“This sale meets all of my personal goals,” Bridge said. “As I approach my retirement, it was a priority to find a buyer with as much history and community stature as Bridgecorp enjoys.”

Pike Industries, headquartered in Belmont, N.H., has 132 years of service to its credit and has Maine offices in Lewiston.
