EAST MACHIAS – High school girls and boys all-star basketball teams will battle in the Downeast Athletic Conference Senior Showcase Friday night with games at 5:30 and 7, respectively.

The East girls squad of Shead, Lubec, Woodland and Calais will be coached by Bob McShane and will take on the West team made up of Washington Academy, Narraguagus of Harrington, Jonesport-Beals and Machias.

The boys game will feature Class C teams of Calais, Woodland, Narraguagus and Washington Academy coached by Ron Brown against Class D teams of Jonesport-Beals, Machias, Lubec and Shead coached by Larry Davis.

Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
